FAMILY FUN IN THE SUN TURNS INTO FAMILY DRAMA IN "AU PAIR 3 ADVENTURE IN PARADISE," PREMIERING SUNDAY, MARCH 15, ON ABC FAMILY

Original Movie Stars Gregory Harrison and Heidi Saban

Burbank, CA (Monday, February 9, 2009) The Caldwell family returns in the third installment of the hit movie franchise, as the family hits the tropical beaches of Puerto Rico in ABC Family's original movie, "Au Pair 3 Adventure in Paradise"," starring Gregory Harrison and Heidi Saban, airing Sunday, March 15 (8:00 10:00 p.m. ET/PT).

It's been six years since viewers last saw the Caldwell family and much has happened in their lives the biggest change being that business mogul Oliver Caldwell (Gregory Harrison) and ex-au pair Jenny Taylor (Heidi Saban) are now the proud parents of one year-old Sarah. Meanwhile, the older children have grown up: Katie (Katie Volding) has finished her first year of college and Alex (Jake Dinwiddie) has just graduated from high school.

When Oliver and Jenny decide to take the family on much a needed vacation to spectacular Puerto Rico, Jenny is determined that the vacation will be an opportunity for some quality time and bonding. But the Caldwell kids have different agendas.

Katie's desire to stretch her wings as a young woman means she doesn't want to spend her time babysitting her younger sister, and she finds herself both embarrassed by her family's wealthy lifestyle and resentful of the bodyguards that her father insists surround the family. Meanwhile, Alex is totally crushing on Katie's friend, Ariana (Kathleen Mealia), who tags along on the family vacation. He is clearly making a fool of himself for her, but Ariana doesn't seem to mind. This sparks a bit of jealousy for Katie as she watches the strong connection between Ariana and Alex until she meets a cute local guy, Danny, who asks her out and more importantly -- has no idea who her family is, and Katie wants to keep it that way!

When Oliver heads back to Los Angeles alone for a crucial company meeting to help save the business, Katie and Alex finally escape the watchful eye of their bodyguards and Katie ends up staying out all night out with Danny, while Alex sneaks off with Ariana, only to learn that she's keeping a big secret from Katie. All of this leaves Jenny feeling out of control and unsure of her role in the family.

Upon Oliver's return, everything comes to a head when Katie discovers a shocking secret about Ariana's true identity and how far her father will go to protect her, and Oliver delivers bad news about his business meeting. With the Caldwells' commitment to one another severely tested, Jenny is determined to put the pieces back together and rally her family to action. Ultimately, they learn that real families weather each storm that comes their way and emerge stronger than before. "Au Pair 3 Adventure in Paradise" will be preceded by feature presentations of "Au Pair" (4:00 PM ET/PT) and "Au Pair II" (6:00 PM ET/PT). The movie is executive-produced by Jody Brockway and Craig McNeil, written by Jeffrey C. Sherman, who also serves as co-executive producer, and directed by Mark Griffiths. Also starring in the movie are Jake Dinwiddie, Katie Volding and Kathleen Mealia.
