New Webisodes Capturing Pre- and Post-Oscar Festivities Premiere Daily Through February 23

This week Oscar.com, the official guide to the 81st Academy Awards, debuts daily coverage leading up to the Oscar ceremony with "Road to the Oscars." Hosted by Chris Harrison, the original web series consists of nine episodes, with a new show premiering every day through Monday, Feb. 23.

Harrison, host of ABC's popular romance series "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," will take movie lovers behind the scenes of all the pre-Oscar events and festivities taking place in the week leading up to the biggest movie event of the year. The web series will also feature exclusive interviews and behind the scenes footage as Hollywood gets ready to celebrate 81 years of great film-making. Fashion trends and breaking news will also be included in each daily show.

On the night of the Awards, Oscar.com will offer "backstage" video content featuring an insider's view of Hollywood's biggest night with the Thank You Cam � offering winners an extended opportunity to thank their supporters immediately after they've left the stage; Backstage Cam � capturing sound bites, backstage action, short interviews and behind-the-scenes footage; and Press Room Cam � featuring moments of winners in the press area.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2008 will be presented on Sunday, February 22, 2009, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center�, and televised live by ABC. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 200 countries worldwide
