25/7 Productions Taps Nelly for Primetime Television Party

Series to be shot in Las Vegas with Emmy Award Winning Producer Madeleine Smithberg and 25/7's Dave Broome at Helm

BURBANK, Calif., Feb. 19 -- 25/7 Productions has forged a deal with music sensation Nelly to host NELLY'S NIGHT IN VEGAS - a weekly primetime party brought to television from the Las Vegas stage. Executive produced by 25/7's Dave Broome ("The Biggest Loser"), Emmy Award winner Madeleine Smithberg ("The Daily Show with Jon Stewart") and Nelly, each week NELLY'S NIGHT IN VEGAS will bring Hollywood's biggest stars to the mecca of pop culture for a show unlike any other on television.

"Successful television formats are ever-changing, as is pop culture, and there's no better person to transcend the changes than Nelly," said Broome. "He has the fame to attract fans and the charm to keep them engaged."

NELLY'S NIGHT IN VEGAS will be an ongoing wild, high stakes party where you can bet on anything and probably everything happening. The show promises to reflect the full spectrum of the Vegas life with an endless supply of inspiration and content for Nelly and his spectrum of sidekicks, beautiful women and entourage. His private jet and red carpet lifestyle will add to the weekly excitement as will his interviews with film, television and music's biggest stars.

"I'm all about creating something new in pop culture and this show will be unlike any other on television," added Nelly.

Nelly burst onto the music scene in 2000 with his hit single "Hot," and his debut album COUNTRY GRAMMAR, which sold over 250,000 copies during its first week of release. The album, which also featured hits "E.I" and "Ride Wit Me," went on to sell 9 million copies. Two years later, his sophomore album NELLYVILLE sold 6 million albums and earned him two Grammy Awards. Now, with 20 million records sold and another Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group, Nelly is one of the industry's top recording artists, a hit producer and an uncanny business man. His clothing lines for men and women - Vokal and Apple Bottoms - are sold nationwide and his beverage - Pimp Juice has sold millions of units and been recognized by the beverage industry as the "People's Choice" for best energy drink. He also recently branched into acting with his debut role in the "Longest Yard," alongside Burt Reynolds, Adam Sandler and Chris Rock.

NELLY'S NIGHT IN VEGAS is produced by 25/7 Productions and Mad Cow.
