LARRY KLEIN NAMED SHOWRUNNER FOR "THE BRIAN McKNIGHT SHOW"
(February 27, 2009) � Litton Entertainment announced today that two-time Emmy Award-winning producer Larry Klein has been named Showrunner for THE BRIAN McKNIGHT SHOW. With over 30 years of experience in music TV and live event production, Klein is a highly respected talent known for producing high-profile, star-powered television events such as the American Music Awards, the MTV Awards and New Year's Rockin' Eve.
"Larry Klein and Brian McKnight have worked together for years, ensuring instant comfort and success for THE BRIAN McKNIGHT SHOW," said Dave Morgan, Series Executive Producer and President / CEO of Litton Entertainment. Debuting Fall 2009, the one-hour weekly entertainment show will feature live performances from the hottest Hollywood stars, musicians, athletes and comedians, and bring fresh, original content to weekend audiences.
McKnight, a multi-platinum award-winning singer, musician, producer and arranger, is known for his silky style, breezy charm and smooth vocals. A true renaissance man, McKnight's talents have been showcased in every medium: from his 20 million record sales to his Broadway acting debut in Chicago; from hosting his own radio and television shows to working as a special red-carpet correspondent for Extra. A devoted sports enthusiast, McKnight plays basketball and golf, and is known for his musical proficiency on no less than nine instruments. But wherever and whenever he appears, McKnight captures audiences with his authenticity, instant rapport and obvious ease in the spotlight.
