NEW YORK, NY JUNE 3, 2009 - On Sunday, June 7th, WE tv - the go-to network for all things bridal - will unleash a new season of wedding favorites under a newly-renamed Sunday night programming block, "WE tv's Wedding Sunday." The new season includes the sixth season of signature series, Bridezillas at 9PM/8C and a second season of breakout hit series, Amazing Wedding Cakes, at 10PM/9C. The season debuts with the World Premiere Original Special Top 10 Bridezilla Moments at 8PM/7C, which revisits some of series' all-time memorable Bridezillas and catches up with the now-married ladies. To support the launch, WE tv is rolling out a robust multi-platform marketing campaign.

Key elements of WE tv's Wedding Sunday campaign include:
"Grand Central Terminal Domination" - For the entire month of June, WE tv will wrap the upper levels of Metro-North Commuter Railroad train bays in Manhattan's Grand Central Terminal with more than 200 outdoor ads that showcase the breadth and appeal of WE tv's wedding programming. The campaign, titled "Simply Weddings," features hit shows including Bridezillas, Amazing Wedding Cakes, My Fair Wedding and Platinum Weddings. In addition, there will be animated ads promoting the new seasons of Bridezillas and Amazing Wedding Cakes and driving tune-in. The campaign will extend to New York City taxi cabs as well as select venues in Chicago.
"Unforgettable Wedding Season" - Used across all media to promote the return of Bridezillas, WE tv secured Filter Advertising to design a look that champions that iconic figure, the Bridezilla! To anchor the concept, WE tv licensed the rights to the Nat King Cole classic, "Unforgettable" (one of the most popular wedding songs of all time) as the music for the campaign. The song will be featured in Bridezillas promo spots that capture the badly behaving brides-to-be in action. Accompanying each spot will be critical reviews from past Bridezillas seasons...but with a twist. For this campaign, WE tv tapped into the thousands of followers the network has on Twitter, and uses select viewer "tweets" for inclusion in the ads. In addition to advertising on local and national television, the campaign will feature an analogous print key art design that will run in print publications and on online banner ads.
"Bridezillas on the Loose" Viral Campaign - As part of the Bridezillas promotion, WEtv.com is launching an online viral initiative that allows participants to send mock news releases to their friends to show what happens when a Bridezilla gets loose. Participants can upload a friend's name, and image to portray her as the Bridezilla described in the video. The release can then be passed along. Players access the site via www.Wetv.com. Conde Nast's Brides Magazine Partnership - To support the broader wedding-themed brand, editorially WE tv has teamed up with Conde Nast's Brides magazine on a barter cross-promotional deal where WE tv will run online subscription offers for Brides magazine in return for in-book ad space in the Nov/Dec issue. In the past WE tv has partnered with other Conde Nast titles such as Modern Bride on wedding themed promotions.
WEtv.com - To celebrate the new season of June bridal premieres, WEtv.com is hosting the online sweepstakes "Unforgettable Cash Giveaway." Bridezillas, 9pm/8C - Each week WE tv's signature series provides viewers a behind-the-scenes peek at 'extreme brides' as they get ready for the biggest day of their lives, while slowly losing their grip on sanity. Amazing Wedding Cakes, 10pm/9C - What's a wedding without the ultimate cake?
