"SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE" TOP 10 FINALISTS REVEALED AFTER CAITLIN KINNEY AND PHILLIP CHBEEB ARE ELIMINATED

NOW IT'S UP TO AMERICA AS THE TOP 10 PERFORM WITH NEW PARTNERS WEDNESDAY, JULY 15, ON FOX

The Black Eyed Peas to Perform on Next Results Show Thursday, July 16

Tonight the Top 10 finalists were revealed after Caitlin Kinney and Phillip Chbeeb were eliminated on the summer hit SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Kinney, 21, is a Contemporary dancer from Annapolis, MD, and Chbeeb, 20, is a Popping dancer from Los Angeles, CA. This week featured a special performance by Kelly Rowland and David Guetta.

The three couples who received the fewest votes after Wednesday's performance show were: Caitlin Kinney and Jason Glover; Jeanine Mason and Phillip Chbeeb; and Melissa Sandvig and Ade Obayomi. After each of these six dancers performed solo routines, the judges eliminated Kinney and Chbeeb.

Next week, the competition continues on television's most original dance show when the Top 10 finalists (Kupono Aweau, Brandon Bryant, Randi Evans, Jason Glover, Evan Kasprzak, Janette Manrara, Jeanine Mason, Ade Obayomi, Kayla Radomski and Melissa Sandvig) compete with new partners on a two-hour performance show Wednesday, July 15 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

The Top 10 finalists had this to say about how it feels and what it means to make it to this point in the competition on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE:

Kupono Aweau Dance Specialty: Lyrical/Contemporary Hometown: Honolulu, HI Currently Resides: Kailua, HI Age: 23 "Freakin' ridiculous! It is absolutely amazing to be part of the Top 10!"

I have worked my whole life training and preparing myself for something like this. It means making my family proud, and also means opening doors to many more opportunities with dance. I'm ready and extremely grateful for whatever comes my way."

Jason Glover Dance Specialty: Lyrical/Contemporary Hometown: Fresno, CA Currently Resides: Fresno, CA Age: 21 "It means something more to me than I could ever begin to explain or think about because I have struggled for years to get to a point where I could stand on my own as a dancer. Now doing it in front of America on the cusp of my dreams is the most awesome thing that has ever happened to me in my entire life."

Evan Kasprzak Dance Specialty: Broadway Hometown: West Bloomfield, MI Currently Resides: West Bloomfield, MI Age: 21 "Amazing. It will continue to push me as a dancer and will fuel my desire to achieve more."

Janette Manrara Dance Specialty: Salsa Hometown: Miami, FL Currently Resides: Hialeah, FL Age: 25 "Freedom. Jeanine Mason Dance Specialty: Contemporary Hometown: Miami, FL Currently Resides: Pinecrest, FL Age: 18 "Embarking on the greatest journey of my life. It means touring this country and meeting the people that inspire my movement. It means accomplishing something I never thought was possible. It means living my dream."

Kayla Radomski Dance Specialty: Jazz/Contemporary Hometown: Aurora, CO Currently Resides: Aurora, CO Age: 18 "It means everything to me. I have worked so hard my entire life to get to where I am today, and it shows all my hard work has paid off. I really cannot begin to explain how much making the Top 10 means to me."

Melissa Sandvig Dance Specialty: Ballet Hometown: Los Alamitos, CA Currently Resides: Los Alamitos, CA Age: 29 "It means the world to me. I'm proud of myself and proud that classical ballet was brought to the show. It's also an amazing feeling knowing that America is voting for me as a person and as a dancer."

The following night, three-time Grammy Award winners The Black Eyed Peas will perform their newest single, "I Gotta Feeling," from their No. 1 album, "The E.N.D." Then, it's solely up to America's vote to determine which two dancers will be sent home on the live results show Thursday, July 16 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed).

In a surprise announcement, Caitlin Kinney and Phillip Chbeeb will join the Top 10 dancers as guest performers on the 40-city SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Tour 2009. The tour kicks off Sunday, September 20 in Manchester, NH, and tickets go on sale Saturday, July 25. Go to fox.com/dance for more information.
