NASHVILLE � July 20, 2009 � Soak up some last-minute summer fun Labor Day weekend with mega-star Alan Jackson when CMT premieres AQUAPALOOZA ON LAKE MARTIN on Friday, September 4 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT. No stranger to the nautical lifestyle, Jackson performs his biggest hits before thousands of fans for the unique maritime experience at Lake Martin, Ala. The special tapes this Saturday, July 25; and over 3,000 boats are expected to "raft up" to the stage to catch the action.

Jackson delivers some of his signature party anthems and honky tonk songs in the rocking 90-minute concert special, including "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" and "Good Time" for the crowd. The special rounds out CMT's SUMMER OF MUSIC, which also featured such music programming as THE SINGING BEE, INVITATION ONLY and CAN YOU DUET, among others.

Over the course of his 20 year career � with 16 gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums leading up to the release last year of Good Time � Alan Jackson has become one of country music's most respected and honored artists and songwriters. He has sold more than 50 million albums and has more than 100 major industry awards to his credit.
