G4 ANNOUNCES NEW COMPETITION SERIES "AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR," TAKING AMERICA'S TOP 10 COMPETITORS TO JAPAN TO TAKE ON THE WORLD FAMOUS SASUKE OBSTACLE COURSE

G4 Teams Up with Award-Winning Executive Producer Craig Piligian (American Chopper, The Ultimate Fighter, Dirty Jobs) for New Series Debuting Fall 2009

Los Angeles, CA, July 29, 2009 G4 presents the biggest and most daring "Ninja Warrior" event in the network's history with the new series "American Ninja Warrior." The series will hold open tryouts to find the top 10 American competitors from across the country and send them to Japan to tackle Sasuke, the world's most difficult and diabolical obstacle course. The American competitor who completes all four stages of Sasuke in the fastest time will be named the ultimate "American Ninja Warrior." Produced by Pilgrim Films & Television and Executive Producer Craig Piligian, the new half-hour series "American Ninja Warrior" will premiere fall 2009 on G4.

"'Ninja Warrior' has developed a cult following in the U.S. and we are excited to give American fans the opportunity to go to Japan and take part in the legendary competition for the first time," said Neal Tiles, President, G4. "It is a pleasure to work with Craig Piligian whose track record of producing extraordinary programming speaks for itself. Not only will the series capture the blood, sweat and tears that go into Ninja Warrior' competitions, it will also reveal the personal stories behind each of the contestants."

Piligian said, "I've been a huge fan of Ninja Warrior' since it's been airing on G4 and could not be more thrilled to be partnering with the network as we give American athletes and fans of the franchise the opportunity to test their mettle in this incredibly intense and challenging physical environment. Competitors will have to rely not just on their physical and mental abilities but also on their sheer determination and force of will to make it to the end. We look forward to bringing American Ninja Warrior' to G4."

Production for "American Ninja Warrior" will begin in August with the kick-off of the nationwide search for America's strongest competitors at an open tryout in Los Angeles. Fans are encouraged to submit videos of their ninja skills in action for a chance to audition in Los Angeles at G4TV.com/AmericanNinja.

The top 10 competitors from across the country will be selected and the series will follow their journey every step of the way from gearing up for their first tryouts, to their grueling training regimens, to traveling to Japan for the main event. The competitor who completes all four stages of Sasuke in the quickest time will win the title of "American Ninja Warrior."

Sasuke in Japan is produced by Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, Inc. (TBS).
