WE tv Announces Original Programming and Development Slate

Network Greenlights New Series Girl Meets Gown and Jilted? (wt); Renews Hit Series The Locator, Little Miss Perfect, and the Award-Winning High School Confidential

PASADENA, CA JULY 31, 2009 - WE tv (www.Wetv.com) announces an aggressive slate of originals featuring new and returning series and documentary specials in development and production.

The network has greenlit the six-part, one hour series, Girl Meets Gown, a high-stakes, emotion-packed series that captures brides-to-be on the hunt for the perfect wedding dress. The network is also in production on Jilted? (wt), a six-part, one hour relationship series hosted by Rachel Hollis and slated to premiere on the network early next year.

In addition, WE tv has renewed its breakout hit series, The Locator, for a fourth season and its popular child pageant series, Little Miss Perfect, for a second season. The network plans to premiere the new seasons of both series in early 2010. The network also renewed its award-winning original teen documentary series, High School Confidential for a second season. The new season will follow high school girls in Chicago and is currently in production.

WE tv is also in production on the two-hour documentary, Surrogate Stories, which examines the struggle to create new families through surrogacy. Additionally, the network has completed production on Chain Gang Girls 2, a follow up to its powerful documentary about female inmates. Chain Gang Girls 2 will premiere on WE tv Tuesday, August 11 at 9PM/8C.

Below are descriptions of upcoming WE tv programming.

New Series:

Girl Meets Gown (6x60"; premieres 2010) - Set in Stardust Celebrations, one of Texas� largest bridal salons, this new WE tv original series centers on the pressure cooker situations that occur during the search for the perfect wedding gown. Girl Meets Gown is produced for WE tv by AMS Pictures. For AMS Pictures, the Executive Producer is Kim Clemons and the Executive in Charge of Production is Andy Streitfeld.

Jilted? (working title) (6x60; premieres 2010) - In this new WE tv original series, viewers hear: "It�s now or never!" That�s the bold ultimatum each Bride wannabe gives her boyfriend at the top of each episode. Viewers watch to see if the bride get�s married... or not! Jilted? (working title) is produced for WE tv by The Incubator. For The Incubator, the Executive Producer is Stephanie Bloch Chambers and the Executive in Charge of Production is Simon Andrae.

Special:

Surrogate Stories (1x120" premieres 2010) - This revealing WE tv original follows the individual, remarkable, and spirited stories surrounding surrogacy. Surrogate Stories is produced for WE tv by Pyewackitt Productions, LLC. For Pyewackitt Productions, LLC the Executive Producer is Megan Smith-Harris.

Chain Gang Girls 2 (1x120"; premieres Tuesday, August 11 at 9PM/8C) -This WE tv original, goes behind bars to offer viewers an inside look into the misadventures of a fifteen woman chain gang, the only female chain gang in America. Chain Gang Girls 2 is produced for WE tv by Hoff Productions. For Hoff Productions the Executive Producers are Michael Hoff and Ashley Adams.

Returning Series:

The Locator (1x60", 7x30"; Fourth Season premieres in 2010 ) - In every episode of the WE tv original hit series, The Locator, starring Troy Dunn, viewers follow the emotional journey as Dunn - aka "The Locator," and his team as they navigate around roadblocks and uncover hidden clues to reunite people with their long-lost loved ones. The Locator is produced for WE tv by Asylum Entertainment.

Little Miss Perfect (12x60"; Second Season premieres in 2010) - This WE tv original series goes backstage to reveal the lives and relationships of young girls and their mothers, as the children compete for beauty pageant crowns. The series stars pageant guru, Michael Galanes. Little Miss Perfect is produced for WE tv by NorthSouth Productions. For NorthSouth Productions the Executive Producer is Jennifer Holbach and the Executive in Charge of Production is Blaine Hopkins.

High School Confidential (8x60"; premieres 2013) - This Gracie Award-winning WE tv original is an honest and in-depth series that chronicles the experiences of a group of Chicago based teenage girls as they journey from freshman year of high school to graduation day. High School Confidential is Executive Produced by Sharon Liese, for Herizon Productions and Production Support provided by Towers Productions.
