LYDIA IS THE SEVENTH HOUSEGUEST TO BE EVICTED FROM THE "BIG BROTHER" HOUSE

On Tuesday, Jordan nominated Natalie and Lydia for eviction. In last night's LIVE Power-of-Veto competition "Before or After," the Houseguests were asked a series of questions based on events in the House that could be answered by choosing either "Before" or "After." Jordan won and chose not to use it leaving both Natalie and Lydia on the chopping block.

During last night's live broadcast, by a vote of three to one, Lydia, the 24-year-old special effects make-up artist from Torrance, Calif., learned her fate and left the BIG BROTHER House. She will be the second Houseguest to be sequestered in the jury house. After her eviction, she was interviewed by Julie Chen about her experience.

After last night's BIG BROTHER eviction, the Houseguests competed in a joint "Have/Have-Not" and Head-of-Household competition called "Can Do" Houseguests grabbed cans and then dropped them into their individual recycling tubes. On this Sunday's show, the houseguest who either collected twenty-four cans the fastest or had the most cans in their tubes after an hour will be revealed and they will be this week's HOH.

The Houseguests:

Braden Bacha, Santa Monica, Calif. - Evicted on Thursday, July 16

Natalie Martinez, Gilbert, Ariz. via Chino, Calif.

Ronnie Talbott, Belpre, Ohio via Vienna, W.Va. - Evicted on Thursday, Aug. 6

Russell Kairouz, Walnut Creek, Calif.

The 11th season of BIG BROTHER is broadcast three nights weekly, Sundays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) and the LIVE eviction show, hosted by Julie Chen, Thursdays (8:00-9:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT).

BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining Houseguests will receive the grand prize of $500,000.

BIG BROTHER is executive produced by Emmy Award winner Allison Grodner, Rich Meehan and Scott Einziger, in association with Endemol U.S.A.
