RUSSELL BECOMES THE EIGHTH HOUSEGUEST TO BE EVICTED FROM THE "BIG BROTHER" HOUSE

Russell Was Evicted Last Night from the BIG BROTHER House by a Unanimous Vote

After being nominated for eviction by Head-of-Household Jeff, Russell was evicted last night from the BIG BROTHER House by a 3-0 vote.

On Sunday, Jeff nominated Natalie and Kevin for eviction. On Tuesday, Jeff won the Power-of-Veto and chose to remove Kevin from the block. After vetoing one of his own nominations, Jeff was forced to select another Houseguest to put in his place and decided to backdoor Russell by putting him on the block.

During last night's live broadcast, Russell, the 24-year-old mixed martial arts fighter from Walnut Creek, Calif. learned his fate and left the BIG BROTHER House. He will be the third Houseguest to be sequestered in the Jury House. After his eviction, he was interviewed by Julie Chen about his experience.

After last night's BIG BROTHER eviction, the Houseguests competed in the latest Head-of-Household competition called "The S'More The Merrier." The Houseguests each stood in their own lanes, transferring cupfuls of hot chocolate from a reservoir to their individual tanks until the marshmallow inside the tank floated up high enough for them to grab. The first one to grab the marshmallow from their tank will be named this week's HOH, which will be revealed in Sunday's episode.

The Houseguests:

Braden Bacha, Santa Monica, Calif. - Evicted on Thursday, July 16

Casey Turner, St. Petersburg, Fla. - Evicted on Thursday, July 30

Chima Simone, West Hollywood, Calif. - Expelled on Tuesday, Aug. 18

Jeff Schroeder, Norridge, Ill.

Jessie Godderz, Tampa, Fla. - Evicted on Thursday, Aug. 13 (1st Jury Member)

Jordan Lloyd, Matthews, N.C.

Kevin Campbell, Chula Vista, Calif.

Laura Crosby, Atlanta, Ga. - Evicted on Thursday, July 23

Lydia Tavera, Torrance, Calif. - Evicted on Thursday, August 20 (2nd Jury Member)

Michele Noonan, Pasadena, Calif. via Iselin, N.J.

Natalie Martinez, Gilbert, Ariz. via Chino, Calif.

Ronnie Talbott, Belpre, Ohio via Vienna, W.Va. - Evicted on Thursday, Aug. 6

Russell Kairouz, Walnut Creek, Calif. - Evicted on Thursday, Aug. 27 (3rd Jury Member)

The 11th season of BIG BROTHER is broadcast three nights weekly, Sundays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) and the LIVE eviction show, hosted by Julie Chen, Thursdays (8:00-9:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT).

BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining Houseguests will receive the grand prize of $500,000.

BIG BROTHER is executive produced by Emmy Award winner Allison Grodner, Rich Meehan and Emmy Award winner Scott Einziger, in association with Endemol U.S.A.
