THE INTRUDERS (FOX, New!) - Danny Comden is developing a new single-camera comedy at the network about "a wealthy country club father in Arizona who falls in love with a white-trash single mom and blindsides his kids by moving her and her family into their estate, where the debaucherous world of Lake Havasu collides with the manicured lawns of Scottsdale." The project, which has a penalty attached should it not go to pilot, is set up at the Warner Bros. Television-based Wonderland Sound & Vision. Comden then will write and executive produce the half-hour, which is loosely based on his wife's real-life experiences as a child in Arizona, alongside Wonderland's McG and Peter Johnson. The group previously teamed for the 2006 comedy pilot "Learning to Fly" at ABC. Comden toplined said effort and may play a role in "Intruders."
