This January COMEDY CENTRAL is standing up for comedy and giving it a one-month long salute. "Stand-Up Month" is back and the only all-comedy channel is giving viewers Network and World Television Premiere stand-up specials every weekend in January, including specials from Chris Rock, Aziz Ansari, Artie Lange, Arj Barker and Larry the Cable Guy. Also on tap during COMEDY CENTRAL's "Stand-Up Month" celebration is a brand-new stand-up series starring "The Daily Show's" John Oliver and the ever-popular "Stand-Up Showdown," a marathon countdown of the top 20 comics as voted by viewers.
Other highlights for the month include the return of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "The Colbert Report" from their end-of-year hiatus, the COMEDY CENTRAL Premiere of the animated acquisition "The Goode Family" from creator Mike Judge and the COMEDY CENTRAL Premieres of hit films "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan," "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou," "National Lampoon's Stoned Age," "Screwed," "The Hot Chick," and "Balls Out: Gary the Tennis Coach."

Watch Emmy� Award-winning writer and "Daily Show" correspondent John Oliver loosen his stiff upper lip and ditch the suit as he hosts a new stand-up show for COMEDY CENTRAL, with material from some of his favorite comedians.
