TLC IS SWEET ON TWO NEW SPECIALS

Don't be surprised if you get a sugar rush on Monday, December 21 TLC will premiere two new specials celebrating all things chocolate.

At 9:00 PM ET/PT, LITTLE CHOCOLATIERS introduces the Hatches, little people who own a chocolate shop in Salt Lake City. In the one-hour special, husband & wife team Steve and Katie not only need to produce 600 chocolate dice for a casino night party -- they're asked to build a life-sized, all chocolate flower garden for a couple's fifth anniversary, but wonder how to complete a project that's bigger than they are. Then disaster is imminent when the air conditioner in their shop goes down... can they save the chocolate? Meanwhile, Steve must overcome his fear of public speaking.

LITTLE CHOCOLATIERS premieres as a special, and will continue as a six-part series in 2010. LITTLE CHOCOLATIERS is produced for TLC by Relativity Media.

Then, at 10:00 PM ET/PT, see what it takes to win it all in WORLD CHOCOLATE CHAMPIONSHIP. The one-hour special goes behind the scenes as nineteen of the best chocolatiers in the word assemble in Paris to compete for the prestigious title of World Chocolate Master. These elite pastry chefs must use all their skills, creativity and cunning to impress a panel of judges in five mouthwatering categories; hand-dipped praline, layered cake, gastronomic dessert platter, chocolate decorated haute couture hat, to incorporate the theme of 2009 competition, and a final showpiece made entirely of chocolate. With the clock ticking, the pressure is on as masterpieces and hopes come crashing down.

WORLD CHOCOLATE CHAMPIONSHIP is produced for TLC by ITV.
