Exclusive: "Nightmares" Gets Post-"Idol" Showcase

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX has moved up the season premiere of "Kitchen Nightmares" to Tuesday, January 26 at 9:00/8:00c.
Said shift, which was confirmed to the site exclusively this afternoon, is part of a two-week stunt to showcase the series - which will still regularly air on Fridays at 9:00/8:00c - after "American Idol."
The special airings will also help fill the void left by the departure of "Our Little Genius," which was pulled from the schedule earlier this month.
FOX previously announced an encore of the "Human Target" pilot will fill the Tuesday, 9:00/8:00c hour on January 19.
