LIVE FROM MIAMI ON FEBRUARY 3, MAN V. FOOD KICKS OFF TRAVEL CHANNEL'S NEW LINEUP OF ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING

--Travel Channel Announces Man v. Food LIVE, Celebrates Samantha Brown's Tenth Anniversary, and Introduces Original Series Food Wars--

(Chevy Chase, MD) Travel Channel is kicking off 2010 with an entertaining slate of original programming. In February, hot on the heels of a record-breaking second season of Man v. Food, viewers will join host Adam Richman as he takes on his first real-time challenge during MAN V. FOOD LIVE. Also in February, Travel Channel marks a monumental milestone as Samantha Brown celebrates her tenth year on the network with SAMANTHA BROWN'S TENTH ANNIVERSARY. In March, new host Camille Ford takes viewers coast-to-coast in search of the ultimate food rivalries in Travel Channel's original series FOOD WARS.

On February 3 from 9PM to 11PM, host Adam Richman and the MAN v. FOOD LIVE production will take on Miami, Florida for a landmark, two-hour television event leading up to America's biggest football weekend. Spectators will cheer on Adam as he attempts Shula's 48 oz. Steak Challenge -- in real time -- in hopes of being inducted into the exclusive 48oz. Club. This popular South Florida steakhouse was founded by Don Shula, the winningest Coach in NFL history. Prior to the live challenge, Adam will take viewers on a Man v. Food-style tour of sunny Miami finding the best places to chow down for an epic tailgate party.

Premiering February 8-11 at 8PM, SAMANTHA BROWN'S TENTH ANNIVERSARY marks ten years of Samantha Brown's travel programming. Visiting dozens of countries, hundreds of cities and staying in countless hotels around the world, Samantha Brown has been a familiar face on Travel Channel. As she celebrates her tenth anniversary with the network, Samantha shares her favorite memories and gives fans a close and personal look at her decade on Travel Channel.

Samantha Brown's Tenth Anniversary features four all new one-hour specials including:

· Samantha Brown's Vancouver (February 8 at 8PM) where Samantha discovers the natural beauty, winter activities, food and culture of the 2010 Winter Olympics host city.

· Samantha Brown: Inside the Suitcase (February 9 at 8PM) Samantha shares her travel secrets, packing tips and her proudest moments from the road.

· Samantha Brown Fan-a-thon (February 10 at 8PM) Samantha celebrates ten years of travel at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida with some VIPs -- her fans.

· Samantha Brown's World of Sports (February 11 at 8PM) Samantha takes viewers through a personal compendium of her best and worst sports-related moments throughout her time on the Travel Channel.

Premiering March 9 at 10PM, new host Camille Ford takes viewers on a coast-to-coast adventure to find the country's ultimate food showdowns in FOOD WARS. Traveling from city to city, she seeks out each region's most celebrated dishes that have defined a destination and created some of the biggest culinary rivalries. In Detroit, MI, Camille uncovers a family disagreement that has provoked a near century-long rift between the American Coney Dog and the Lafayette Coney Dog, two side-by-side establishments known for their delicious pork sausages smothered with all beef chili, sweet onions and yellow mustard. Orchestrating a blind taste test, where enthusiastic patrons seek to squelch the competition in a food face off unlike any other, Camille pits the nation's most iconic eateries in a one-to-one comparison. From family feuds and stolen recipes to ingredient battles, FOOD WARS sets the record straight once and for all.
