LOS ANGELES (Jan. 19, 2010) � Sigourney Weaver, Justin Timberlake, Kyra Sedgwick, Ray Romano, Jeremy Renner, Carey Mulligan, Anthony Mackie, Anna Kendrick, Felicity Huffman and Brian Geraghty will be presenters at the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards�, Executive Producer Jeff Margolis announced today. They join previously announced presenters Alec Baldwin, Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Jane Lynch, Michelle Monaghan, Chris O'Donnell, Anna Paquin, Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci in honoring their colleagues at this year's Actors� ceremony.
The 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center on Saturday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), 7 p.m. (CT) and 6 p.m. (MT). An encore presentation will air on TNT at 11 p.m. (ET/PT). (Viewers watching via satellite or in HD should check local listings.)
Preceding the SAG Awards� ceremony will be the premiere of "TNT and PEOPLE Magazine Present the SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS� RED CARPET SHOW" at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT), 6:30 p.m. (CT) and 5:30 p.m. (MT) and the annual tnt.tv and tbs.com Red Carpet Webcast at 6:15 p.m. (ET), 5:15 p.m. (CT), 4:15 p.m. (MT) and 3:15 p.m. (PT).
Two-time SAG Award nominee Sigourney Weaver can currently be seen in the hit 3-D animated feature "Avatar" and the film "Crazy on the Outside." Weaver is nominated this year for her lead performance in the Lifetime television movie "Prayers for Bobby." Weaver can next be seen in the upcoming films "Paul" and "You Again."
Grammy and Emmy Award-winning Justin Timberlake has earned rave reviews for his hilarious "Saturday Night Live" characters and sketches. Timberlake is currently filming the feature film "The Social Network."
Screen Actors Guild Awards nominee Kyra Sedgwick currently stars on the TNT series "The Closer." Sedgwick's portrayal on the show earned her two nominations this year for both female lead and ensemble performance.
Actor recipient Ray Romano currently stars in "Men of a Certain Age" on TNT. Romano will next appear as a subject of "The Haney Project" on the Golf Channel.
In his first SAG Awards appearance, Jeremy Renner received a double nomination for his lead and cast performances in "The Hurt Locker." Renner can next be seen in feature film "The Town."
First-time nominee Carey Mulligan is celebrating two Actor nods this year for her lead role and ensemble performance in the feature film "An Education." Mulligan will next be seen starring in "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps."
Anthony Mackie is receiving his first SAG Awards nomination for his ensemble performance in "The Hurt Locker" opposite Brian Geraghty and Jeremy Renner. Mackie will next be seen in the feature film "The Adjustment Bureau" and on Broadway in "A Behanding in Spokane."
Actor nominee Anna Kendrick stars in the critically-acclaimed film "Up in the Air," for which she received her first SAG Awards nomination in the supporting category. Next up for Kendrick is the dark comedy opposite James McAvoy and Seth Rogen, tentatively titled "I'm With Cancer."
Three-time Actor recipient Felicity Huffman can currently be seen on the hit ABC series "Desperate Housewives."
Two-time Actor� nominee Brian Geraghty is nominated this year for his work in the ensemble of the film "The Hurt Locker." Geraghty may also be seen in the upcoming feature film "Easier with Practice" and on stage with Martin Sheen and Frances Conroy in "The Subject Was Roses."
