ACTOR/COMEDIAN, TRACY MORGAN RETURNS AS HOST AND FIRST TIME EXECUTIVE PRODUCER OF SYFY'S HIDDEN CAMERA REALITY SERIES, SCARE TACTICS
The Fourth Season of Production Begins This Spring On 13-Episode Pick-Up Order- Series Premiere To Kick Off Fall 2010
New York, New York - March 16, 2010 - Syfy returns with the frighteningly funny fourth season of the hit hidden camera reality series, Scare Tactics. Actor/comedian, Tracy Morgan (30 Rock, Cop Out, SNL) is on series double duty this new season as host and executive producer for the half-hour, 13-episode pick-up order, it was announced today by Mark Stern, Executive Vice President of Original Programming, Syfy. Scare Tactics begins production this spring and is scheduled to premiere fall 2010.
"We're ecstatic to be bringing back Scare Tactics for another season to all our die-hard Syfy reality fans," said Stern. "Tracy has his finger on the pulse when it comes to comedy and having him on board as executive producer just adds another layer to the huge success of our show."
Set-up by friends and loved ones, unsuspecting victims are placed into elaborately staged scary situations involving movie-style special effects and makeup. The horror hoaxes are skillfully designed to tap into the wildest fears of the prank's prey. Viewers laugh along to the hilarious reactions of the show's "stars" as they are caught off guard and on camera. Scott Hallock and Kevin Healey of Hallock Healey Entertainment are the executive producers and creators of Scare Tactics.
"First, having Tracy on board is huge. Second, Kevin and I have already started working with our writers on innovations that will make season four our biggest, scariest and most hilarious yet," said Hallock.
