New York, NY - May 5, 2010 - "Saturday Night Live" wraps the season with an Emmy award-winner and a Grammy award-winner, as Alec Baldwin and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers take to studio 8H for the season finale. Baldwin returns for his fifteenth time and will tie Steve Martin for the show record for most host appearances. Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will make their eighth appearance as musical guest.

Alec Baldwin has won two Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, four SAG Awards and a Television Critics Association Award for his hilarious turn on NBC's hit show "30 Rock". Baldwin garnered a 2004 Academy Award nomination for his role in "The Cooler" opposite William H. Macy and won rave reviews for his performance in Martin Scorsese's "The Departed". Other film credits include "It's Complicated," "The Good Shepherd," "Prelude To A Kiss," "Malice," and "Ghosts of Mississippi," "The Edge," "Pearl Harbor" and "The Cat in the Hat." Among his many stage credits, Baldwin won acclaim and a Tony nomination for his work opposite Jessica Lange in "A Streetcar Named Desire," which also garnered him an Emmy nomination for the television adaptation. Baldwin has made his mark in the entertainment business not only as an actor but also as a producer. Baldwin's production company, El Dorado Pictures, co-produced the Emmy-nominated miniseries "Nuremberg" and the feature film "State and Main."

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will make their eighth appearance as musical guest on May 15th, making their first live television appearance since headlining the Super Bowl XLII Halftime Show in 2008. Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame inductees Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers released their debut album in 1976 and have since sold more than 60 million records while playing to sold out concert audiences across the world.
