LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC is wrapping "Downfall" a week early while "Shark Tank" has been pushed to later in the month.
Both moves were confirmed by last night's bookings from the Alphabet.
"Downfall," originally set to run through July 27, will now close with its July 20 installment - leaving one episode on the shelf. ABC will instead rebroadcast its two-hour "Wipeout Blind Date" special on July 27 starting at 8:00/7:00c. "Shaq Vs.," as previously announced, will assume the Tuesday, 9:00/8:00c time period on August 3.
As for "Shark Tank," the series will now resume its run on July 29. In its place, special Thursday editions of "Wipeout" will fill the Thursday, 8:00/7:00c hour on July 15 and July 22. For now "Shark Tank" will stick with repeats as its sole remaining original installment ("Episode 115," originally set for July 15) has yet to be rescheduled.
Lastly, ABC has also subbed in encores of its freshman drama "Rookie Blue" on Saturday nights on July 17 (two episodes) and July 24 (one episode) starting at 9:00/8:00c. "Wipeout" encores, previously slated for 9:00/8:00c, will shift to 8:00/7:00c in place of "America's Funniest Home Videos" repeats.
