BROTHERS FROM ANOTHER MOTHER (Comedy Central, New!) - Comedians Ralphie May and Lavell Crawford are set to star in a potential new multi-camera comedy at the cable channel about "lifelong friends who discover they're brothers when their father passes away and leaves them his barbecue restaurant." Mitchel Katlin and Nat Bernstein co-wrote the half-hour, which is also executive produced by Ben Feigin of Anonymous Content, Eric and Kim Tannenbaum as well as May and Crawford.
DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES (ABC) - Brian Austin Green ("Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles") is in talks for a major recurring role on the upcoming season. He'll play Keith, "a new contractor and charming playboy who turns up the heat on Wisteria Lane." His character is also being billed as "a potential love interest to one of the housewives." Should his deal close, he'll join incoming cast member Vanessa Williams.
THE MIRACULOUS YEAR (HBO) - Lee Pace ("Pushing Daisies") and Linus Roache ("Law & Order") have both landed roles on the drama pilot, which is described as "an examination of a New York family as seen through the eyes of a charismatic, self-destructive Broadway composer." Details about their characters however weren't released. Eddie Redmayne, Frank Langella, Hope Davis, Norbert Leo Butz, Patti LuPone and Stark Sands also star in the hour, which comes from creator John Logan and director Kathryn Bigelow.
