THE GOOD WIFE (CBS) - Scott Porter ("Friday Night Lights") is the latest to score a role on the show's second season. He'll play Blake, "Kalinda's private eye counterpart at the DC firm that's merging with Lockhart & Gardner," in as many as 10 episodes. Porter's character is further billed as "a professional and perhaps personal foil to Archie Punjabi's sexually ambiguous Kalinda" and someone who "offsets his cynical attitude with lots of hidden humor and sexual charisma."
HAPPY TOWN (ABC) - Co-creators Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec have inked a one-year overall deal with Warner Bros. Television. The pact, financial details of which weren't released, calls for the duo to develop new series projects for the studio where they may work alongside fellow Warner Bros.-based J.J. Abrams, whom they worked with on "Alias."
