HAWAII FIVE-0 (CBS) - Co-star Scott Caan reportedly suffered a torn ACL on the set of the freshman drama, which launches on Monday nights this fall. Said development has forced production to continue without the actor while he undergoes surgery in Los Angeles. It's understood Caan's injury will be incorporated into the series however no specifics were given.
NCIS: LOS ANGELES (CBS) - Newcomer Renee Felice Smith has landed a recurring role on the show's sophomore season. She'll play Nell, "an incredibly bright, somewhat quirky, and extremely chatty intelligence analyst who'll be assisting Eric (Barrett Foa) in the OPS center." No details were given about when her first episode will air.
PARKS & RECREATION (NBC) - Alan Yang, a writer/producer on the series, has inked a two-year overall deal with Universal Media Studios. The pact, financial details of which weren't released, covers Young's services on the series as well as any future development.
