NEW YORK (September 2, 2010) - Summer may be coming to a close, but "Jersey Shore" is still hotter than ever as MTV gives fans more of television's #1* series (P12-34) with the return of "Jersey Shore After Hours." Premiering Thursday, September 2nd at 11p.m. ET/PT following an all-new episode of "Jersey Shore," the half-hour after-show will once again reveal secrets that viewers - and often times the cast - don't see coming. On Friday, September 3rd at 8p.m. ET/PT, fans can relive the intensity of Thursday's episode in an extended encore airing that will also feature exclusive, never-aired- bonus footage.
As Ronnie and Sammi's tumultuous relationship continues to divide everyone in the house, the tension hits a fever pitch in this Thursday's explosive episode when the bonds of love, friendship and "GTL," that have made the cast pop culture icons, will be tested like never before. In the first after-show, viewers can expect emotions to run high when never before seen footage exposes a series of lies and forces cast members to finally discuss the truth.

In the P12-34 demo, the second season of "Jersey Shore" is the #1* television series across all of television and is currently one of the top five cable telecasts of 2010. The show continues to gain momentum with three consecutive weeks of growth and series high deliveries of a 5.5 rating (P12-34) and a total audience of 5.8 million viewers on August 26th. Season-to-date, "Jersey Shore" is averaging a 5.3 P12-34 rating and over 5.4 million viewers.
