The two hurry to plan the magical holiday wedding in time to spend Christmas morning together as a family, but run into trouble when a criminal from Jake's past, Leon (Graham Abbey, "The Border"), returns to town. Jake fears Leon is planning to ruin the nuptials, but he isn't prepared for the problems that arise in his own family when his two teenaged kids get into a huge argument, and grandpa George (Peter MacNeill, "Queer as Folk"), feeling unwanted in the family, threatens to move out.
