Entertainment Studios Announces a Firm Go for "The Gossip Queens"

Los Angeles, CA - September 14, 2010 Entertainment Studios, Inc., (www.es.tv) the largest independent producer and distributor of first-run syndicated television programming for broadcast television stations, and owner of six 24-hour HD television networks, announces the launch of its 26th and newest television program -- "The Gossip Queens." Shot in HD, "The Gossip Queens" is a daily half-hour strip airing five days a week in syndication, on the Entertainment Studios cable network Comedy.TV and on MTV Network's Logo.

Entertainment Studios is doing a slow rollout of "The Gossip Queens" in syndication on great stations and great time periods including WCIU in Chicago, the NBC O&O KNTV in San Francisco, Gannett Broadcasting's WTSP in Tampa, Cox Broadcasting's WRDQ in Orlando, and Sinclair Broadcasting's WBFF in Baltimore.

"The Gossip Queens" features four of America's funniest and most insightful comedians regarding pop culture, entertainment news, and celebrity gossip. The comedic hosts are joined by various celebrity gossip bloggers and magazine editors who bring the latest and greatest celebrity dish and gossip.

Loni Love

Love just starred in her own one-hour special for Comedy Central, "America's Sister" and has also appeared on the channel's "Premium Blend," "Weekends at the DL" and "Chocolate News." Her many television appearances include "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn," "The Best Damn Sports Show Period," VH1's "I Love the 70's/80's/90's," "VH1's The Great Debate" and "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen" among numerous others. Currently Loni co-hosts the weekly radio show "Caf� Mocha" with MC Lyte, and she is a regular panelist on E!'s hit show "Chelsea Lately" and TruTV's "The Smoking Gun Presents: The World's Dumbest."

Alec Mapa

Actor and comedian Alec Mapa co-hosted "The View" and has guest-starred on over 40 television series, including "Alias," "Friends," "Roseanne," "Seinfeld," and "NYPD Blue." Alec's television career includes two recurring roles on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" and "Ugly Betty." Alec's stand-up comedy special, "Wisecrack" premiered on Logo in 2005 and has since gained a huge cult following.

Michelle Collins

Michelle Collins is a comedian and the Managing Editor of VH1's Bestweekever.tv. As a comedian, Michelle makes regular appearances as a panelist on "Chelsea Lately," "The Joy Behar Show," and "The Tyra Banks Show." This year, Michelle won Logo's NewNowNext Award 2010 for "Brink of Fame: Comic." As a blogger, she's earned her two Webby Awards for Best Celebrity Fan Blog. She can be found on Twitter (@michcoll).

Bernadette Pauley

Comedian Bernadette Pauley has a bunch of TV credits under her belt including: Comedy Central's "Tough Crown with Colin Quinn," Animal Planet's "A-list" and "Wild 100", TLC's "Trading Spaces" and "RedEye with Greg Gutfeld." Pauley has also appeared on "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen" and has hosted several episodes of "Comedy.TV" Bernadette is a frequent guest on Sirius Radio's Raw Dog channel and regularly performs nationwide in colleges, comedy clubs, casinos and theaters.
