NASHVILLE - September 21, 2010 - America's most-loved cheerleading squad is back as CMT presents an all-new season of DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS: MAKING THE TEAM premiering Friday, October 15 at 8:00-9:00 p.m., ET/PT. This season, the competition is as fierce as ever as cameras capture hundreds of hopefuls auditioning for the first time at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas and follow those lucky few through training camp and onto the field.

Back to whip the new recruits and seasoned veterans into top performance shape are Kelli Finglass, director of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders; Jay Johnson, the no-nonsense fitness trainer; and Judy Trammell, the team choreographer. Finglass, Johnson and Trammell test the rookies for the tough physical and mental stamina required to represent the organization. New recruits must compete toe-to-toe and learn precision dance routines alongside veteran cheerleaders for a coveted spot in training camp. The pressure to look their best in those iconic blue and white uniforms is made all the more intense for the hopefuls knowing they will appear on the new stadium's state-of-the-art LED video displays that span 60 yards. In the end, only the best will make the squad and the privilege to be called a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.
