MTV'S "MADE" PREMIERES NEW SEASON AS IT CELEBRATES THE 200TH EPISODE

Emmy Award(R)-Winning Series Kicks Off New Season on Monday, September 27 at 4PM ET/PT

On Saturday, September 25 Beginning at 2PM ET/PT A Special "Made" Marathon Will Check in on Past Subjects

New York, NY (September 21, 2010) - MTV continues the tradition of turning the dreams of young people into realities with a new season of "Made," premiering Monday, September 27 at 4PM ET/PT. The first to be directed by a former "Made" subject, the 200th episode will introduce a teen who - against all odds - pursues his dream of becoming a film director. Tommy is a high school senior who has difficulties reading and writing, but his creativity and love of movies inspires him to be a film maker. Over the years, "Made" has followed the journey of students seeking to conquer a new level of success and overcome the expectations of others as they pursue their untapped ambitions. Fans can gear up for the new season with the "Made" marathon which will take a look back at past episodes and catch up with young people featured during the past 10 seasons. The marathon will air on Saturday, September 25 starting at 2PM ET/PT.

"For ten seasons 'Made' has presented - through first person perspectives - stories of young people confronting the challenges in their lives and their triumphant ability to overcome those internal obstacles," said Dave Sirulnick, Executive Vice President of MTV News and Production. "The inspiring tale of our 200th episode will follow a young person as he pushes himself to succeed despite limitations that he must work to overcome."

The 200th episode is directed by Andrew Wonder, who just seven years ago, was a student embarking on a journey to become a TV producer as featured in the first season of "Made." Andrew has since gone on to shoot several shows for MTV including the first reality program to be shot using the Cannon 5D camera - "Made: The Real Show Choir."

In the "Made" marathon, six of the most popular episodes from past seasons will pull at the heartstrings of viewers again. Throughout the day, former "Made" subjects will update viewers on their lives. From goals of becoming a soap star to body builder, these stories will remind viewers that hard work and dedication can result in success and personal growth.

"Made" was created and is executive produced by Bob Kusbit and Francis Lyons for One Louder Productions. Dave Sirulnick and Tony DiBari are executive producers for MTV. Co-Executive for "Made" are Donna Edge-Rachell, Zachary G Behr and Randi Gewirtz.
