FULL FIRST EPISODE AVAILABLE BEGINNING TODAY

NEW YORK, NY (September 27, 2010) - For the first time ever and on the heels of the Season Two premiere of Bored to Death, HBO is offering the full first episode via the promotional HBO iPad App beginning today. The first episode will also be available through October 11th on additional digital platforms including HBO.com, the HBO iPhone App, HBO On Demand, Comcast's Xfinitytv.com, YouTube and iTunes.

Bored to Death is the creation of author Jonathan Ames ("The Extra Man," "The Alcoholic") and stars Jason Schwartzman as the fictional Ames, Ted Danson as his needy mentor and boss and Zach Galifanakis as his best friend. The series follows the misadventures of Ames, a noir-fiction writer who moonlights as an unlicensed private detective listing his services on Craigslist. The executive producers of Bored to Death are Jonathan Ames, Sarah Condon, Troy Miller, Stephanie Davis and Dave Becky; co-executive producers, Tracey Baird and Donick Cary; supervising producer Martin Gero; producers Anna Dokoza and Michael Stricks. Bored to Death premiered Sunday, September 26th at 10:00 PM and airs on subsequent Sundays at the same time, exclusively on HBO.
