EVEN SANTA CAN GET THE BOOT!

GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINEE JUDD NELSON STARS IN 'CANCEL CHRISTMAS,' A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE WORLD PREMIERE IN 2011

The clock is ticking and Santa only has 30 days to teach two selfish, wayward boys the importance of giving before the clock strikes midnight on December 24 or Santa gets the boot in "Cancel Christmas," the Hallmark Channel Original Movie premiering 2011. The movie, part of television's biggest holiday destination, has begun production in Toronto and stars Golden Globe nominee Judd Nelson ("Billionaire Boys Club").

Even Santa Claus (Nelson) reports to a board of directors and today, the "Chairmen of Christmas" have determined that children have become too greedy, and if Santa wants to keep them from cancelling Christmas altogether, he must prove the board wrong by changing the ways of two especially incorrigible boys, Farley and Steve. Carefully disguised as "Kriss," part-time school janitor, part-time mall Santa, and with his head elf Randall along for the journey, Santa's plan is to quash the boys' mischievous ways with an act of kindness. Together, they will work to grant a Christmas wish for a handicapped boy and his mom and hopefully, in doing so, the boys will learn giving a gift feels just as good- if not better- than receiving one.

One by one, Farley and Steve begin to come around but everything is put in jeopardy when a news story catches on about the local mall Santa who is incredibly giving and could even be the real deal. Luckily, Santa still has a few tricks up his red velvet sleeve?! Even if it takes a bona fide Christmas miracle and the ultimate act of selflessness, he will liberate Christmas from the clutches of the paranoid chairmen.

"Cancel Christmas" is being produced by C/P Xmas Productions, Inc. Lewis Chesler, David Perlmutter and Rob Vaughn are the executive producers. Marek Posival is the producer and Marci McCurlie is the co-producer. John Bradshaw ("You Lucky Dog") is directing from a script written by David Alexander ("A Grandpa For Christmas").
