'PSYCH' Goes Back to College this Fall

USA Network's Hit Show Takes Ten College Campuses By Storm Starting Monday, October 25 and Introduces CAMPUS WARS on Club PSYCH

PSYCH Hits One Million Fans on Facebook

NEW YORK, Oct. 21 -- USA Network's hit series PSYCH will embark on a 10-city college campus tour starting Monday, October 25 at The University of Florida in Gainesville. The ten campuses will be overloaded with PSYCH themed activities, including an advanced sneak peek of the show's fall season premiere, "Extradition II: The Actual Extradition Part," which premieres on USA Wednesday, November 10 at 10/9c.

PSYCH stars James Roday and Dule Hill will be making special appearances at select campuses throughout the tour, and each event will be hosted by a member of the PSYCH writing team, as well as creator, writer and executive producer Steve Franks. In addition to the sneak peek screening, there will be a moderated talent Q&A, interactive show trivia and premium giveaways, including fully loaded iPads and collectibles.

"We are psyched to be heading back to college and meet the 'Psych-Os' who have supported us through five seasons," said Roday. "Plus I think Dule still owes a paper on mitochondria mutation for Introductory Biology." Hill added, "As a matter of fact, I got an 'A' on that paper! Seriously, we are thrilled to join our fans in celebration of PSYCH and have the opportunity to bring some delicious flavor to our fans."

PSYCH has shown unprecedented growth this past year in younger demos, especially with the P18-34 audience and in particular, the college community. For the first time, PSYCH has brought in more than one million viewers on average in this coveted demo, has surpassed one million fans on Facebook and has shown an impressive Twitter following among its ever-growing fan base.

In an era where social media is the new word of mouth, the campaign focuses on attracting millions of college students throughout the country. In addition to the live visits on the campuses, USA is also announcing "CAMPUS WARS," where major colleges and universities will have an opportunity to be a part of PSYCH history. Starting Monday, November 1 and running through the show's season five finale on Wednesday, December 22, fans can compete to get their college or university's name into an upcoming episode of the show. At CLUB PSYCH (clubpsych.com), fans can assign any top college or university to their profiles and every time they earn points (by watching videos, playing games or participating in other digital activities), the points can be credited to their school. At the end of show's fifth season, the school with the most points will be featured in a new episode when the series returns for its sixth season next summer. Go to www.clubpsych.com to register.

"PSYCH has become a true phenomenon with the college crowd, attracting avid fans across the country with Shawn and Gus' special brand of humor. We're excited to give undergrads what they've been clamoring for by taking PSYCH off their TV and to their campuses, and allowing them to experience the hip and hilarious show antics in a fresh and engaging new way," said Alexandra Shapiro, SVP, Brand Marketing & Digital.

The PSYCH College Tour will hit the following cities*:

Monday 10/25: The University of Florida

Thursday 10/28: The University of Oregon

Monday 11/1: The University of Georgia

Tuesday 11/2: Boston University

Wednesday 11/3: The University of Texas at Austin

Thursday 11/4: The University of California, Santa Barbara (PSYCH's fictional home town)

Monday 11/8: Arizona State University and The University of Michigan

Tuesday 11/9: Northwestern University

*A tenth school will be named shortly.
