Marks First-Time Performance for Each

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27 -- dick clark productions (dcp) president, Orly Adelson, announced that Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Ke$ha will perform at the 2010 "American Music Awards(R)" making it the first time each of the artists will perform on the AMAs. They join previously announced acts including Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi, P!nk and Usher. Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Ke$ha are also all nominated for Artist of the Year joined by Lady Gaga and Eminem.

Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks. The show will broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 21st (8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on ABC. Tickets are now on sale (please visit www.ticketmaster.com or call 1-877-AEG-TICKETS).

AMA producer Larry Klein stated, "Justin, Katy and Ke$ha have been on the top of the charts all year long. We are happy to see each of them make their own AMA history."

Justin Bieber is a global sensation. His two albums, November 2009's My World and March 2010's My World 2.0, have sold more than six million copies. The video for his song "Baby" is the single most viewed music video on YouTube, and his total YouTube views total more than one billion. Justin is currently out on his first headlining tour of North America.

Grammy-nominated Katy Perry's latest album, Teenage Dream debuted at the top of the Billboard Charts and has already produced two #1 singles, "California Gurls" and "Teenage Dream," with third single "Firework" just breaking into the charts. Katy's California Dreams 2011 world tour kicks off in Europe next February before hitting Australia and Japan in May, and then America during summertime.

2010 has been an incredible year for Ke$ha, who has sold over 15 million combined units worldwide. Less than 10 months after the #1 debut of Animal in January 2010, the album, featuring the smash breakthrough single "TiK ToK," has been certified platinum and sold over 2 million units worldwide. Ke$ha's highly anticipated companion album, Cannibal, will be released on November 22nd.

dick clark productions will also air a live red carpet digital pre-show, "Coca-Cola Red Carpet Live!" @ The 2010 AMAs, on November 21st at 2:00 PM (PT) / 5:00 PM (ET). The pre-show, featuring hosts Danny Gokey, Jennette McCurdy, Lance Bass, Whitney Port and the returning Coca-Cola Correspondent David Lehre, will be available on ABC.com and USTREAM.TV.
