G4 UPS THE ACTION IN NEW SEASON OF "AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR" WITH MORE INTENSE COMPETITION, A LIVE-IN ELIMINATION BOOT CAMP AND A $250,000 PRIZE

New Season Kicks Off Saturday, December 8 at 8PM ET/PT and Continues Throughout December Culminating in a Dramatic Finale as the Competitors Travel to Japan to Face the World's Most Notorious Obstacle Course

Los Angeles, CA, November 4, 2010 - Over the past thirteen years, 2,500 competitors have attempted the infamous Ninja Warrior course atop Mt. Midoriyama, Japan and only three have ever successfully completed it. G4's "American Ninja Warrior" is back to find the toughest, most skilled U.S. competitors and give them a shot at conquering this almost impossible obstacle course. The stakes are higher than ever with a $250,000 grand prize for the U.S. competitor who completes all four stages with the fastest time to emerge as the ultimate "American Ninja Warrior." The new season will take viewers on an all access ride through the competition, which includes a live-in boot camp where 15 finalists will train together and compete to make the final 10 who will go to Japan for the legendary competition. Matt Iseman (Host of Versus' "Sports Soup") and MMA Fighter Jimmy Smith will co-host this season of "American Ninja Warrior" and G4's own Alison Haislip will provide reports from the grueling tryouts and main event in Japan. Produced by A. Smith & Co. Productions ("Hell's Kitchen," "I Survived a Japanese Game Show," "Pros vs. Joes"), Produced by A. Smith & Co. Productions ("Hell's Kitchen," "I Survived a Japanese Game Show," "Pros vs. Joes"), "American Ninja Warrior" debuts Wednesday, December 8 with three episodes from 8:00-11:00pm ET/PT. The series will continue Wednesday, December 15 from 8:00 - 11:00pm ET/PT and Wednesday December 22 from 8:00 - 10:00pm ET/PT. The final two episodes will air Thursday, December 23 from 8:00-10:00pm ET/PT, following the American competitors as they head to Japan and take on the ultimate challenge.

The road to glory is as challenging as the course itself for the hundreds of hopefuls who came from all over the country to Venice, California for "American Ninja Warrior's" largest open tryouts ever this past summer. Viewers will watch as the number of competitors are whittled down from hundreds to a mere 30 who make it past the initial first round of competition. From those 30, only 15 of the toughest, strongest and most strong-willed contestants emerge, further realizing their dream of traveling to Japan to compete - though their journey is only just beginning.

Over four episodes, viewers witness these tough-as-nails competitors take on the first ever "American Ninja Warrior" boot camp. 15 challengers live together in rustic conditions to take part in training, pressure challenges and running Ninja Warrior themed obstacles under the hot burning sun of Southern California. The 10 competitors surviving this grueling elimination process will earn a coveted spot to travel to Japan and try to conquer Mount Midoriyama for the $250,000 prize purse.

The four-stage course is designed to challenge each fiber of a competitor's body and spirit, and most will not even make it through stage one. Viewers will not want to miss a second of the action as this elite group of Americans have their most successful runs ever in attempting to complete the infamous course. Significant changes were made to the world famous course since Americans last competed and the stakes have never been higher. The path to victory is more treacherous than ever before, putting every challenger on notice. Viewers will be there every step of the way for the dramatic performances of these Americans as they vie for a place in "Ninja Warrior" history.

Can any American conquer the course in Japan? The search begins Wednesday, December 8th at 8 PM ET/PT only on G4.
