Network Kicks Off Nationwide Casting Calls For Top Chef Season Nine and Top Chef Just Desserts

NEW YORK - February 3, 2010 - Today, Bravo announced that its newest hit culinary competition series, "Top Chef Just Desserts," a spin-off of the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning "Top Chef" will be returning for a second season. The series consists of pastry chefs competing against one another in a series of challenges. Open calls for pastry chefs, as well as the previously announced "Top Chef" season nine series, will be held in cities across the country starting on February 27.

This week on "Top Chef All Stars," airing Wednesday, February 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the chef'testants put their own spin on an old classic, fondue. For the Elimination Challenge, the chefs appear on the "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" show and cater the comedian's birthday party where he is the guest judge.

"Top Chef" and "Top Chef Just Desserts" are produced by the Emmy Award-winning Magical Elves. Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz serve as executive producers.
