MTV'S AWARD WINNING DOCU-SERIES "TRUE LIFE" RETURNS WITH A FIVE EPISODE MARATHON ON SATURDAY, APRIL 9 BEGINNING AT 2PM ET/PT
New York, NY (April 6, 2011) - MTV's Emmy(R) Award-Winning series "True Life" returns for a special marathon featuring five all new episodes airing Saturday, April 9 from 2pm-7pm ET/PT. The long-running series documents authentic experiences of young people giving viewers a unique perspective and insight into what it is like to be a young person. From over-the-top fun to difficult internal struggles, this special marathon covers a wide spectrum of topics.
The "True Life" episodes scheduled to air from 2pm - 7pm ET/PT are:
TRUE LIFE: I HAVE AN EMBARRASSING MEDICAL CONDITION
Airing at 2pm ET/PT
Find out what happens when two young people struggle to cope with ailments that have unsightly, unseemly, and often uncontrollable symptoms. They attempt to find acceptance from others despite medical issues that may turn people off.
TRUE LIFE: I HAVE TOO MANY SIBLINGS
Airing at 3pm ET/PT
This episode introduces viewers to two young people with families that are filled to the brim. They are trying to spread their wings and fly, but that is easier said than done with nests as crowded as these.
TRUE LIFE: I'M TOO YOUNG FOR MY BOYFRIEND
Airing at 4pm ET/PT
Fans meet two teenagers desperately trying to hold on to their 21-year-old boyfriends. They are trying to convince their guys - and everyone else - to look beyond their age gap.
TRUE LIFE: I'M GOING TO SKATOPIA
Airing at 5pm ET/PT
Viewers will be transported to Skatopia, an 88-acre legendary skate park built to attract hardcore skaters from around the world hoping to revel in its unfettered freedom. Viewers will meet three young people making the pilgrimage to experience the anarchy that Skatopia is famous for, which might prove to be too much to handle.
I'M PASSING AS SOMEONE I'M NOT
Airing at 6pm ET/PT
Two young people find themselves trapped in a web of deceit as they try to conceal their true identities from everyone around them. They want the world to think they are something that they are not, but are forced to face the truth and expose their deep secret.
