Award-Winning Journalist Brooke Anderson Named Co-Anchor of "The Insider"

Hollywood, CA - April 13, 2011 - Brooke Anderson has been named co-anchor of CBS Television Distribution's The Insider. Anderson will join co-anchor Kevin Frazier this May.

In making the announcement, Linda Bell Blue, Executive Producer of Entertainment Tonight and The Insider said, "I'm a huge fan of Brooke both professionally and personally. I've admired her work on HLN and am thrilled that she is joining our Insider family. Brooke is such a well rounded broadcaster - smart, inquisitive, experienced, and grounded. She's everything you'd want in a co-anchor and the perfect fit to sit at The Insider desk with our Kevin Frazier."

Anderson is currently a CNN Entertainment Correspondent and co-host of HLN's Showbiz Tonight. Based in CNN's Los Angeles bureau, Anderson joined the network in July 2000.

In February 2003, she received the National Daily Point of Light Award for volunteerism from President George W. Bush.

Anderson graduated with honors from the University of Georgia's Grady School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.
