BIO premieres "Biography: Kate Middleton" on Wednesday, April 27 at 10pm ET/11pm PT/9pm CT, two days before the Royal Wedding.

Kate Middleton is living a real life fairy tale. She is stunning, stylish and set to marry her Prince Charming, Prince William of Wales, in what promises to be the wedding of century.

But Kate was always an unlikely choice for a royal bride. As a descendant of coal-miners Kate has working class roots, and the last time a commoner married an heir to the throne was 350 years ago. Yet, Kate has inherited her family's dogged determination, a quality they used to climb from the coalmines of Durham County all the way to Windsor Palace. It's that same drive that helped Kate weather a storm of paparazzi, nasty media nicknames and family faux pas, not to mention a humiliatingly public break-up. She has handled all with uncommon poise.

This episode of the hit series "Biography" will provide an inside look at Kate's days at some of England's most exclusive boarding schools, behind-the-scenes accounts of Kate and William's romantic courtship at St. Andrews and rare photos from her childhood.
