Meanwhile, Ben, Devin and Jael dive into a case that has baffled locals along the inter-coastal waterways of South Florida. An unidentified maritime cryptid is rumored to patrol the Loxahatchee River with such frequency that it's been dubbed the Muck Monster. The team meets up with a family who has captured the creature on film, and sets out to discover the truth behind the myth.
The Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files team includes former FBI Special Agent Ben Hansen, lead scientist Bill Murphy, journalist Jael de Pardo, photographer Chi-Lan Lieu, stunt expert Austin Porter and tech specialist Devin Marble. Together, they review web video claiming to depict paranormal and unexplainable phenomena including ghosts, poltergeist activity, UFOs, strange creature sightings, and unknown energy anomalies. After agreeing on which cases warrant further exploration, they take to the field, employing their expertise in full investigations, experiments and recreations to dispel the hoaxes from the real and possibly paranormal.
