CHILLER ANNOUNCES CASTING FOR "BRIAN KEENE'S GHOUL"

NOLAN GOULD AND BARRY CORBIN JOIN CAST OF NETWORK'S FIRST- EVER ORIGINAL MOVIE

NEW YORK - May 4, 2011 - Nolan Gould (Modern Family, Friends with Benefits) and Barry Corbin (The Closer, No Country for Old Men, That Evening Sun, Urban Cowboy, War Games, Northern Exposure) have joined the cast of Chiller's first-ever original movie, Brian Keene's Ghoul. Gould - who currently charms audiences as the lovable Luke on hit series Modern Family - will star as the fearless lead Timmy Graco, while film and TV vet Corbin will portray Timmy's devoted grandfather, Dane Graco. Production has commenced in Baton Rouge, LA on the film, which is slated for a fourth quarter 2011 premiere on Chiller.

Based on the acclaimed novel by horror maven Brian Keene, Ghoul follows a group of young friends who risk their lives to stop who - or what - is behind a rash of disappearances in their town. Ghoul is written by William M. Miller and directed by Gregory M. Wilson. Andrew van den Houten and Robert Tonino (The Woman) serve as producers for MODERNCINÉ.

Ghoul is the first of three confirmed original projects for Chiller this year, and will be followed closely by the premiere of the original movie Steve Niles' Remains (from Synthetic Cinema International) and the original special Chiller 13: Horror's Creepiest Kids (from Associated Television International).

Chiller is the only cable channel devoted to delivering viewers round-the-clock scares. Chiller's eclectic slate of adrenaline-fueled, soul-stirring entertainment includes a broad offering of films, including feature-length premieres every Friday, international programming (Afterlife, Apparitions), documentary and reality shows (Fear Factor), anthology series (Masters of Horror) and some of the most thought-provoking and suspenseful series ever on television (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Twilight Zone, Tales from the Darkside, Outer Limits).
