CBS Cancels "Bleep My Dad Says," "The Defenders" & "Mad Love"

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- CBS began its final cuts for the 2011-12 season on Sunday with the news that freshman trio "Bleep My Dad Says," "The Defenders" and "Mad Love" won't be returning for second seasons.

"Bleep" and "Defenders" had been absent from the Eye's schedule since February and March, respectively, while "Mad Love" has been struggling on Monday nights behind "How I Met Your Mother." Its de facto series finale airs tomorrow night.

CBS announces its fall lineup on Wednesday, following FOX (Monday) and ABC (Tuesday) with The CW on Thursday.
