STARS RECALL THEIR PERSONAL PARANORMAL EXPERIENCES AND LIFE THREATENING SITUATIONS WHEN BIO CHANNEL PRESENTS BACK-TO-BACK PREMIERES ON SATURDAY, JUNE 18

"CELEBRITY GHOST STORIES" RETURNS FOR A THIRD SEASON AT 9PM ET

NEW SERIES "CELEBRITY CLOSE CALLS" PREMIERES AT 10PM ET

NEW YORK, NY, MAY 17, 2011 - BIO Channel presents an evening of back to back premieres on Saturday, June 18, starting with the only series on television where celebrities share their real life ghost experiences, "Celebrity Ghost Stories" premiering its third season at 9PM ET/8PM CT/10PM PT and "Celebrity Close Calls," BIO's new series in which celebrities chronicle their life threatening and dangerous encounters, premiering at 10PM ET/9PM CT/11PM PT.

"Celebrity Ghost Stories" is told completely through first-person narrative by notable actors, musicians and personalities who believe they have experienced the other side. The hit series features descriptive, personal accounts that deliver a compelling, surprising and downright chilling look into the world of the paranormal.

In the season premiere; Regis Philbin befriends a medium and spends the night in a notorious haunted house, actor Harry Hamlin's proposal is foiled by a ghost with a broken heart, actress Ana Gasteyer comes face to face with spirits residing in a theater she performs in, and model and actress Jaime King is attacked by an evil entity in her family's Omaha home.

Season 3 of "Celebrity Ghost Stories" will also feature Jerry Stiller, Valerie Harper, Bret Michaels, Nick Hogan, Eva Amurri, Mia Tyler, Ghostface Killah, Ming-Na, Mindy Cohn, Beverly D'Angelo, Nicole Eggert, Sally Struthers, Natasha Henstridge, Cassandra Peterson, Keisha Knight Pulliam, Matthew Gray-Gubler, Mindy McCready, Lourdes Benedicto, Brett Butler, Penelope Ann Miller, Phil Varone, Chi McBride and Melissa George.

In "Celebrity Close Calls," for many, fame is a dream - critical acclaim, privilege, wealth, and a world of adoring fans. But in a split second, everything can disappear. In this new BIO series, celebrities' exclusive firsthand accounts, accompanied by cinematic reenactments, relive the moments they were confronted with true danger. These true stories should be obituaries, tragic endings to phenomenal lives. Except for one thing; every one of them lived to tell the tale.

Celebrities featured in season one include Jewel, who nearly died of an untreated kidney infection while living penniless in San Francisco; Ice-T, who barely survived a violent car accident after falling asleep at the wheel; singer Jermaine Jackson who saved his brother Michael Jackson when he got stuck in a dangerous rip tide; model Niki Taylor, who suffered extensive liver damage in a car crash during the height of her fame; and Lou Diamond Philips, who was the victim of a stunt gone wrong on a big budget film set.

Season 1 of "Celebrity Close Calls" will also feature Gary Busey, Ed Begley Jr., Bobby Brown, Yancy Butler, Jose Canseco, Angie Everhart, Morgan Fairchild, Cheryl Tiegs, Joely Fisher, Peter Fonda, Louis Gossett Jr., Pam Grier, Tiffany, Brooke Burns, Jena Malone, Mindy McCready, Bret Michaels, Ty Murray, Lou Diamond Phillips, Annie Potts, Elisabeth Rohm, Parker Stevenson, Charlene Tilton, Lynn Whitfield and Elliot Yamin.
