MTV Announces the Season Finale of "Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew" As Lead-In to the "2011 MTV Movie Awards" on Sunday, June 5 at 7:30pm ET/PT

Santa Monica, CA (May 31, 2011) - MTV today announced that the finale to this season's "Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew" (ABDC) will air as the lead-in to the "2011 MTV Movie Awards." The 90-minute special episode, "ABDC Finale at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet," will crown the winning dance crew and feature live hits from the "2011 MTV Movie Awards" red carpet on Sunday, June 5, at 7:30pm ET/PT.
In between the ABDC action, fans will be brought LIVE to the Red Carpet to see Emma Stone and Tom Felton introduce two never-before-seen clips from summer movies The Help and Rise of the Planet of the Apes respectively, catch an interview with the cast of MTV's new series Teen Wolf, and watch a special "Movie Awards" themed "After Hours" - featuring MTV News Josh Horowitz's rocky journey to the red carpet with special appearances by Eva Mendes, Keanu Reeves, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Danny McBride, Jennifer Lawrence and James McAvoy - and more.
Immediately following the special, MTV will present the "2011 MTV Movie Awards" broadcasting LIVE from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA on Sunday, June 5 at 9pm ET/8pm CT.
ABDC's "Season of the Superstars" comes to a close as two remaining crews, IaMmE and ICONic Boyz, battle it out to showcase their edgy and innovative moves for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be named America's best dance crew and receive a $100,000 cash prize. Adding to one of the most incredible and celebrity-filled seasons, dance fans will rejoice when all past champion crews - JabbaWockeeZ, Super Cr3w, Quest Crew, We Are Heroes and Poreotix - return to ignite the stage and give show-stopping performances.
As an extra bonus on Thursday, June 2, at 10pm ET/PT, the two final crews IaMmE and ICONic Boyz will compete in the "Ultimate Battle." The crews will have a final chance to display their phenomenal talent without risking elimination before finale. World famous Producer Swizz Beatz will create original tracks, giving the crews one last chance to win over America's votes.
Back on the red carpet - British TV host and fashion expert Louise Roe (Royal Wedding Coverage, E! April 2011, MTV's The City) will be chatting up all the A-list celebs on the red carpet as she serves as MTV International's guest correspondent for the "2011 MTV Movie Awards." Roe -- who this fall will host the popular style makeover show Plain Jane for MTV International -- will be bringing her eye for fashion and enviable charm as she meets and greets Hollywood's hottest as part of a special edition of "MTV At The Movies." "Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew" is hosted by Mario Lopez and shot on location in Los Angeles as dance crews perform their hottest moves for dance supremacy and a $100,000 cash prize. Every performance-themed episode gives insight into the crews' emotion, spirit and inspiration as they step up to the challenge and show off their groundbreaking choreography and skills. Viewers from around the country choose their favorite crews via text messaging, phone and online voting. The two crews with the least number of votes will be up for elimination with judges making the final call on which crew will be sent home.
