NEW YORK, June 7, 2011 -- Chris Brown and Jill Scott join Alicia Keys as performers for this year's BET AWARDS '11. Brown, whose "F.A.M.E." album is #3 on the R&B Billboard charts, leads the nominations race with nods in six categories. His top nominations include "Best Male R&B Artist," "Video of the Year," and "Coca-Cola Viewers' Choice" for his collaboration with Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne on "Look at Me Now." R&B superstar, poet, and actress Jill Scott, who is set to release her fifth studio album "Light of the Sun" this month, will also take to the BET AWARDS '11 stage with what promises to be a captivating performance. Also on the roster, Alicia Keys returns to the stage to commemorate the re-release of her multi-platinum album "Songs in A Minor" and celebrate her decade-long contributions to the music industry.
