"The A-List: New York" Premieres Monday, July 25 at 10/9c on Logo
NEW YORK, June 23, 2011 -- Logo's highly-buzzed-about, docu-reality series "The A-List New York" returns for a new season of decadent drama, over-the-top "frenemy" squabbles and a fierce, new gal pal to boot. Watch these A-Listers live the high-life as they reach new heights in their fast-paced careers, travel to glam locations and most-of-all, fight it out for social supremacy within their velvet-roped world. From the producers of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," the new 11-episode, one-hour season of "The A-List: New York" returns Monday, July 25 at 10/9c on Logo.
Joining the cast of "The A-List: New York" this season is Nyasha Zimucha. Viewers may know her from her role as a judge on "Little Miss Perfect" - a show that highlighted child beauty pageants. A well-known national pageant title holder herself (Miss Africa USA), Nyasha embodies the complete package with brains to go along with her beauty. CEO of "Embrace Your Hair," a hair and wig accessories company, Nyasha is out to prove the A-List is far from a "boys only" club. This season follows her quest to conquer the cutthroat music industry as an up-and-coming recording artist. Loaded with ambition and lusting for opportunity, you can be sure she'll school the boys on a thing or two as she stops at nothing to make it big.
In addition to Nyasha, the complete, original cast returns to "The A-List: New York" with more drama than ever including: "The Amazing Race" winner actor/model Reichen Lehmkuhl, Brazilian model Rodiney Santiago, renowned celebrity photographer and "RuPaul's Drag Race" and "America's Next Top Model" staple Mike Ruiz, international model Austin Armacost, modeling agent Derek Lloyd Saathoff, and ultra-high-end salon owner Ryan Nickulas and his always quotable sidekick, TJ Kelly.
This season picks up where the volatile first season left off, following provocative storylines including: Reichen and Rodiney's relationship, Derek's launch of a new product line, Austin's attempts to stir the pot and Ryan and his husband struggling to adopt a child. Along the way new relationships ignite, nude photos are revealed, one cast member scores a national magazine cover and gossip spreads when a romantic trip to Hawaii pairs the most unlikely cast mates. "The A-List: New York" reclaims its rightful place alongside the greatest jaw-dropping television full of drama, extravagance and larger-than-life personalities.
"The A-List: New York" is produced by True Entertainment with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh and David Stefanou serving as Executive Producers. Christopher Willey serves as Executive Producer for Logo.
