FEAR FACTOR (NBC) - Joe Rogan is set to return as host for the Peacock's revival of its one-time mainstay, which will focus on pairs of contestants, such as significant others or brothers and sisters. Production begins on eight new episodes - with the first and last to be taped as two-hour events - of the series in July for an air date as early as September. Matt Kunitz is executive producing.
REVENGE (ABC) - James Tupper ("Grey's Anatomy") has scored a role on the newcomer, due to air on Wednesday nights this fall. He'll play the father of Emily Van Camp's character in the show's flashbacks, a role played by Marc Blucas in the original pilot. Blucas currently stars in the USA drama "Necessary Roughness," forcing producers to make the change.
WILD CARD (USA) - Jennifer Finnigan ("Better With You") has booked the female lead on the drama pilot, a "witty procedural about people behaving badly, two very different lawyers handle the type of problems that happen after the sun goes down and need to be solved before the sun the comes up." She'll play Eliza Evans, one of the aforementioned lawyers, in the Fox Television Studios-based project, which also stars Ben Lawson and Edi Gathegi. Tim Matheson ("Covert Affairs") is directing from a script by Stephen Godchaux with Cary Brokaw of Avenue Pictures also executive producing.
