New Travel Game Show Offers Hope to Contestants in Financial Crisis

The challenge? The contestants must carry one ton of cash from Los Angeles to Las Vegas without losing a single dollar. Watch as these contestants understand the true weight of financial woes with "Ton of Cash" premiering Wednesday, August 17th at 9/8c on VH1.

Dhani Jones, NFL linebacker, travel expert and author, hosts this game show-meets-travel expedition. Watch as Jones provides newer and more difficult challenges for this team across all terrains ranging from mountains, rivers to the Mojave Desert. In order to keep the full one million dollar prize, all contestants must work together and keep their clashing personalities in check across this 300 mile journey. Will the contestants see this prize as their burden and regret what they wished for?

Contestants from all financial backgrounds ranging from unemployed to excessive spending rediscover their inner-strength after years of financial instability. As the journey progresses some will change for the better; others will be consumed by greed.
