HOT FROM FOX...

NEWS FLASH! "MOBBED" TO AIR WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 23, ON FOX

Unscripted Special Hosted by Howie Mandel Mixes Flash Mob Concept with Hidden Camera Elements To Provide Surprise Reveals to Unknowing Participants

Just in time for Thanksgiving, viewers can gobble up a new installment of the unscripted special MOBBED, which will air Wednesday, Nov. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) following THE X FACTOR on FOX. Hosted by Howie Mandel, MOBBED puts a hidden-camera spin on the "flash mob" concept.

In each installment of this series, Mandel and thousands of strangers will help a special guest plan an extraordinary surprise for a friend, family member, loved one or co-worker. The unknowing participant will be shocked and stunned by a surprise performance that will lead up to a fantastic reveal.

Throughout the hour, the guests will be seen getting ready for the event - rehearsing their routines and refining their speeches - all while receiving guidance from host Mandel. Then, on the day of the big affair - with the hidden cameras rolling - the detailed plan comes to fruition and suddenly explodes into a song-and-dance spectacle that no one will ever forget.

MOBBED is produced by Alevy Productions and Angel City Factory. Howie Mandel, Chris Cowan, Jean-Michel Michenaud, Mike Marks, Darryl Trell, Howard Kitrosser, Kevin Healey, Michael Rotenberg and Toby Gorman serve as executive producers. It is based on a format created by Mandel, Trell and Kitrosser. Become a fan of the series on Facebook at www.facebook.com/MobbedonFOX and follow the series on Twitter at @mobbedonFOX.

[EDITOR'S NOTE: THE X FACTOR will now air from 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT.]
