HGTV AND "THE RACHAEL RAY SHOW PARTNER" TO TRANSFORM THREE NEIGHBORHOOD HOMES INTO THE HOTTEST PROPERTIES ON THE BLOCK

NEW YORK, N.Y. [For Immediate Release--September 27, 2011] For homeowners who think their block is the eyesore of the neighborhood, HGTV and the RACHAEL RAY show are joining forces to find and fix one lucky winner's neighborhood as part of the Curb Appeal Makeover Contest. Beginning Tuesday, September 27, at 9 a.m. ET through Friday, October 21, at 5 p.m. ET, visitors to HGTV.com and RachaelRayShow.com can upload photos and video essays about why they need a front yard makeover. One lucky winner and two neighbors will each receive a complete curbside facelift, including home exterior improvements and new landscaping, provided by HGTV designer John Gidding and the Curb Appeal team. Winners will be announced on the RACHAEL RAY show and will appear on HGTV in a special episode of Curb Appeal.

"Our partnership with the RACHAEL RAY show offers an amazing opportunity for our audiences," said Gidding. "Not only will I design dream Curb Appeal makeover for three families, but their stories also will appear on both shows."

Each week on HGTV's Curb Appeal, John and his crew dramatically improve the look of a home's exterior with updated faades and cohesive landscapes. In addition, the show's team of experts completes spectacular touch-ups to nearby homes to enhance the curb appeal - and property value - of the entire block.
