MTV TO AIR A ONE-HOUR SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO THE LIFE OF RYAN DUNN ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 28 AT 10:30 P.M. ET/PT

Santa Monica, CA (November 17, 2011) - MTV announced today a one-hour special to celebrate and honor the life of the late Ryan Dunn, which will air November 28 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. The tribute will give viewers an intimate look into Ryan's life, from his early years in Ohio, to his antics with the Jackass crew, to his untimely death in June of 2011. The special will showcase his charm, charisma and genuine spirit that touched the lives of so many, through accounts by his family and closest friends, including Johnny Knoxville, Rob Dyrdek, Wee Man, Chris Pontius, Jeff Tremaine, Bam Margera and many more.

"It's a surreal thing to undertake, doing a tribute to our brother Ryan's life. I still can't believe he's gone but we wouldn't trust anyone else with this, so we are doing the best we can for Ryan, his family, friends, and everyone who loved him," said, Johnny Knoxville.

"Weaving together footage of Ryan for this special reminds us all of what a special friend he was to so many," said Van Toffler, President of Viacom's Music Group. "He is sorely missed by his MTV family and fans, but his mischievous, caring spirit lives on."

MTV will reveal never-before-seen footage and intimate moments from Ryan's days on "Viva LA Bam," to the "Jackass" franchise and more.

The "Ryan Dunn Tribute Special" is executive produced by Jeff Tremaine, Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze and Derek Freda.

Prior to the special, MTV will air an all-new episode of "Ridiculousness," hosted by Rob Dyrdek, at 10:00 p.m., guest starring Ryan Dunn in one of his final television appearances. Ryan is his typical self, energetic and hilarious, as he breaks down some of the most entertaining viral videos on the web with Rob, Chanel and Sterling "Steelo" Brim.

The evening will begin with two encore episodes of "Ridiculousness" featuring Johnny Knoxville at 9:00 p.m. and Jeff Tremaine at 9:30 p.m., and a special encore presentation of "Jackass 3.5" will round out the night at 11:30 p.m.

"Ridiculousness" is executive produced by Rob Dyrdek, Jeff Tremaine, Shane Nickerson and Christian Duguay. "Ridiculousness" is produced by Dickhouse. Lauren Dolgen, Michelle Klepper and Kristina Edwards are the MTV executives in charge.
