Plus, Finale Will Also Feature A Special Sneak Preview And The Surprise Twist For Season 13!

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - December 7, 2011 - The reveal of the season 12 winner, a special performance by Grammy Award-winning band Train of their "Biggest Loser" theme song "Brand New Book," an updated finale format and a sneak preview announcing the surprise twist for season 13 highlight the must-see live finale of "The Biggest Loser" airing Tuesday, December 13 (9-11 p.m. ET) on NBC.

All fifteen contestants will return for the finale, including the three finalists competing for the grand prize of $250,000 - Antone Davis (Knoxville, Tennessee), John Rhode (Mesa, Arizona) and Ramon Medeiros (Florence, Colorado), who won a spot as a finalist after beating all of the season 12 contestants in a marathon featured in the December 6 episode. The transformations will be profound, not just for the finalists, but also for the eliminated contestants who continued to lose weight after returning home from "The Biggest Loser" ranch and are now competing for the "at home" prize of $100,000.

The show will include a very special performance by multiple Grammy Award-winning band Train, perhaps best known for their enormously popular hit "Hey, Soul Sister." Train wrote the song "Brand New Book" expressly for "The Biggest Loser," and a portion of the song played each week during the opening credits for season 12 of the show. Now viewers will be treated to Train performing the full version of the show's new theme song.

The finale, which will feature an updated format profiling the eliminated contestants, will also include a sneak peek of season 13 of "The Biggest Loser" and reveal the surprise twist for the new season premiering on Tuesday, January 3 (8-10 p.m. ET). After the contestant transformations are revealed, the "at home," $100,000 prize winner will be announced. Then it's the moment viewers have been waiting for, when one of the three finalists will be named this season's "Biggest Loser" and win the coveted grand prize of $250,000.

"The Biggest Loser" is a production of Reveille, 25/7 Productions and 3 Ball Productions. Ben Silverman, Dave Broome, JD Roth, Todd A. Nelson and Todd Lubin are the executive producers.
